When did you last spend far too much time on flipping through a catalogue of standard optics just to realise that the device you were looking for was missing out?

With our custom optics we offer you a whole new sense of freedom to design exactly what you want. Not just in terms of hardcore optical functionality based on simulations with your preferred design tool (Zemax, Code V, OSLO etc)  but also when it comes to physical outline.

Any shape you want

The physical appearance of the optical component you are designing can be customised too. With custom optics you decide what shape is required to fit into your Spectrometer or LiDAR housing or Space instrument enclosure. By inclusion of appropriate mechanical features in the optical component itself you may design and build your optical system for easy assembly having little or no need for optical alignment.

Metallic optics

Using a metallic substrate is key to create flexible and useful custom optics. Our optics are made from Aluminium, Copper, Brass or Nickel-Phosphor typically with a metallic or multi-layer dielectric coating on top to enhance the optical performance. And the metallic substrate also lends itself perfectly well to implement the physical outline with all the desired mechanical features and holes that make up a genuine custom optics device.
